Privacy policy
Welia processes your personal data with care, in accordance with Moroccan law 09-08 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data.

1. Data controller
The data controller is Welia, reachable via the contact page or by email at privacy@welia.ma.
2. Data collected
When using the platform, we may collect:
- Account information: first name, last name, email, phone number, password (hashed).
- Booking data: services booked, slots, chosen salons, history.
- Reviews and comments published on the platform.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, pages visited (analytics cookies).
- Geolocation: with your explicit consent, to suggest nearby salons.
3. Purposes of processing
- Allow booking and management of your appointments.
- Send you confirmations, reminders and notifications related to your bookings (email, WhatsApp).
- Improve service quality (anonymous statistical analysis).
- Respond to your support requests.
- Inform you (with your consent) of news or promotions.
4. Sharing with salons
When you book with a Professional, we transmit only the information strictly necessary to perform the service: your first name, last name, phone number and the service booked. No other data is shared without your consent.
5. Retention period
Your data is kept as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, it is anonymized within 90 days, except for legal retention obligations (invoices, accounting).
6. Your rights
In accordance with law 09-08, you have the following rights:
- Access: obtain a copy of your data.
- Rectification: correct inaccurate data.
- Deletion: request the erasure of your account.
- Opposition: refuse certain processing (e.g. marketing).
- Portability: retrieve your data in a reusable format.
To exercise these rights, write to us at privacy@welia.ma. We respond within 30 days.
7. Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies (authentication, booking cart) as well as anonymized analytics cookies. You can configure your browser to refuse them, but some features may be affected.
8. Security
We implement technical and organizational measures to protect your data: password hashing, HTTPS transmission, restricted data access by our team, regular backups.
9. CNDP
If you believe your rights are not respected, you may contact the National Commission for the Control of the Protection of Personal Data (CNDP) — the competent Moroccan authority.
